The Carrier rooftop unit (RTU) was designed with input from customers, featuring "no-strip screw" collars and handled access panels for ease of installation and maintenance. All WeatherMaker® units are field-convertible to horizontal airflow, allowing for adjustments to unexpected job-site complications. The units are lighter for easier replacement, and they include simple, fast plug-in connections to the standard integrated unit control board (UCB) with clearly labeled connection points to reduce installation time. A large control box offers ample space to work and mount Carrier accessory controls.
