The Carrier WeatherMaker® rooftop units (RTU) with EcoBlue™ technology, designed with input from customers, integrate innovative features to provide significant benefits in rooftop equipment. The 48/50FC WeatherMaker® units, available in configurations of up to 6 tons, are engineered to fit existing Carrier roof curbs dating back to 1989, facilitating straightforward replacements without the need for curb adapters or modifications to utility connections. These single-stage units achieve SEER ratings up to 14.0 and IEER ratings up to 15.2, offering flexibility with either vertical or horizontal airflow. The units feature "no-strip" screw collars and handled access panels for ease of installation and maintenance. The WeatherMaker RTUs are designed for optimum comfort and control, with all models field-convertible to horizontal airflow, making them adaptable to unforeseen job-site challenges. Their lightweight design simplifies replacement, while the combination of quick plug-in connections to the integrated unit control board (UCB) and clearly labeled connection points significantly reduces installation time.
