The 58SB01/58SB1A 4-way multipoise gas furnaces feature an 80% AFUE and Carrier's Quietech™ noise reduction system for exceptionally quiet induced draft operation. The design includes a 4-way multipoise configuration, allowing for through-the-furnace downflow venting, and offers 13 different venting options, as well as easy service access. An inner blower door ensures tighter sealing in sensitive applications, making these furnaces suitable for both natural and propane gas. The 58SB1A model is Low NOx certified for California installations, meeting the 40 ng/J NOx emissions requirement, and can be used in air quality management districts with similar standards. Key performance features include a microprocessor-based control center with enhanced diagnostics, LED display, fault code storage during power outages, adjustable heating air temperature rise, and adjustable cooling airflow.
