The 58SB01/58SB1A 4-way multipoise gas furnaces with 80% AFUE include Carrier's Quietech™ noise reduction system for exceptionally quiet induced draft operation. The furnaces feature a microprocessor-based control center with enhanced diagnostics using LED and reflective sight glass, storing fault codes during power outages, and adjustable heating air temperature rise along with adjustable cooling airflow. They are equipped with a power heat igniter and a draft safeguard switch to ensure proper furnace venting, with an inner door for tighter sealing. The 4-way multipoise design allows for installation flexibility with 13 vent applications and compatibility with Hybrid Heat® dual fuel systems. The compact design stands at only 33-1/3 in. (847 mm) tall, and the units can be converted to propane with a gas conversion accessory. They also offer convenient connections for air purifiers and humidifiers. In terms of certification, the cabinet air leakage is less than 2.0% at 1.0 in. W.C. and less than 1.4% at 0.5 in. W.C., tested in accordance with ASHRAE Standard 193.
