The 59SC2D Multipoise Comfort™ condensing gas furnace is designed for high energy efficiency, featuring up to 92.1% AFUE gas efficiency and an electrically-efficient Basic Fixed-Speeds, Constant Torque (FCT) ECM blower motor. This furnace includes a single-speed inducer motor and a single-stage gas valve, equipped with a silicon nitride Powerheat™ hot surface igniter, and adjustable blower speed for both heating and cooling. The construction comprises an aluminized-steel primary heat exchanger and a stainless-steel condensing secondary heat exchanger. It offers 4-way multipoise installation flexibility for upflow, downflow, or horizontal applications, providing 12 different venting options including potential through-the-cabinet downflow venting. The factory-configured unit is suitable for upflow applications and measures 35" (889 mm) in height, facilitating installation and service accessibility. Additionally, this furnace is certified for use in mobile/manufactured housing when paired with the appropriate MH accessory kit and is convertible for propane use with a gas conversion accessory. Each unit is design certified in Canada.
