The BSC Preferred Folding Bulk Shipping Container features an impressive 1,800 lb weight capacity and can hold 240 folded units per 53' truck, maximizing shipping efficiency. Designed for convenience, it folds easily and permits 4-way forklift access. This AIAG-approved bulk container, with a footprint of 48"L x 40"W, is suitable for food processing and general distribution applications. Constructed from high-pressure, injection-molded plastic, it boasts strong impact resistance, making it ideal for high-traffic environments. The container's two-piece compression heat-welded base ensures durability using minimal raw material, while the ribbings throughout the base offer additional internal strength and support. A labeling area is located on the sides, and the two hinged drop-down doors fold flush against the container for easy access to contents. The design includes a box-style "carcass joint" for improved impact resistance and secure sidewall positioning, as well as "U-channel" ribbing to handle both vertical and horizontal stresses, reducing sidewall torsion and deflection. The "floating finger" hinge facilitates easy assembly and disassembly, and the integrated "T-slot" design helps absorb impact and align the walls, enhancing the overall performance and longevity of the container.
