This industrial folding bulk container is designed to fold easily, allowing for 4-way forklift access and making it an ideal solution for food processing and general distribution applications with its 48"l x 40"w footprint. Constructed from high-pressure, injection-molded plastic, it offers strong impact resistance and is recyclable, making it suitable for high-traffic areas. The container features a two-piece compression heat-welded base for a solid structure with minimal raw materials, while ribbings throughout the base provide internal strength and support. It includes a labeling area on the sides and two hinged drop-down doors that fold flush against the container for easy access to contents. With a box-style "carcass joint" for improved impact resistance and firm sidewall positioning, as well as "U-channel" ribbing to handle both vertical and horizontal stresses, the design minimizes sidewall torsion and deflection. The "floating finger" hinge facilitates easy assembly and disassembly, and the integrated "T-slot" captures additional vertical forces, absorbs impact, and aligns the walls.
