The RZ Airflow® is a purifying filter specifically designed for PTAC units, easily attached to the discharge vent of the PTAC, and purifies 99.97% of the air in the room from viruses, allergens, and odors within an average of 45 minutes. This patent-pending filter features a 6-month filter lifespan, requires zero (0) added electrical power from the PTAC when installed, and generates no additional noise during operation, with only a minimal impact on PTAC unit airflow (5%). The kit includes a storage case and consists of one center HEPA filter that captures airborne particulates down to .3 microns, alongside two side active carbon filters that reduce odors and smoke, typically within 20 minutes. The unit's dimensions when fully installed are 30.5" x 7", and its portable and durable frame weighs 1.3 pounds, collapsing to a size of 12"D x 4"W x 7"H for easy transport and storage. Optimum air purification occurs after 4 cycles, with continued improvement during operation, and the RZ Airflow is optimized for airflow, tested to maintain the set temperature, requiring no additional plug-in or battery, while ensuring there's no increase in PTAC energy consumption at low or high speeds.
