Aquasafe® flood bags provide an effective solution and superior protection from both flooding and water damage, functioning as both a sandless sandbag and a water absorbent pad. Weighing less than 1 lb. and measuring 1" H x 16" W x 22" L when dry, they expand to 5.5" H x 16" W x 22" L when activated, absorbing enough water to weigh up to 50 lbs. These bags are constructed from nonwoven fabric with strong cross-stitched seams to prevent tearing and are made from extremely durable needle punched polypropylene. The porous texture and hydrophilic filler enable rapid absorption, making them suitable for cleaning up leaks and spills. Aquasafe® flood bags can be used both commercially and in residential settings to provide protection against flooding, can be stacked to create a berm or water barrier, and act as a liquid diversion or erosion control system.
