Cushion Max™ anti-fatigue mats are constructed from nitrile-blended foam, engineered to endure exposure to grease, oil, and chemicals, typically lasting twice as long as traditional PVC foam mats due to the robust nitrile rubber used. The mats feature a comfortable 5/8" (0.625") thickness that provides excellent anti-fatigue properties, while the diamond-pattern surface increases durability compared to ribbed surfaces, which may peel and shave over time. Safety is prioritized with beveled edges that ensure a smooth transition from floor to mat, and the mats are certified high-traction by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI), making them suitable for indoor commercial and industrial environments. The material composition includes closed-cell nitrile/PVC-blended foam, and custom sizes are available in widths of 2' (24"), 3' (36"), and 4' (48"), with whole foot lengths up to 45'; please be aware that mat sizes are approximate due to potential rubber shrinkage and expansion from temperature changes. The mats meet various standards and testing benchmarks, including a compression deflection of 61.7% at 20 PSI and 77.5% at 40 PSI, an ESD rating for anti-static properties, compliance with temperature ASTM D-1056, and flammability standards in accordance with DOC-FF1-70. For maintenance, cleaning is recommended with a deck brush using a neutral pH detergent, followed by rinsing with a hose or pressure washer, and hanging to dry.
