The Escali® DH7 is a versatile thermometer designed for both home and outdoor cooking, featuring dual functionality as it operates in both infrared (IR) and probe modes. In IR mode, it measures surface temperatures, making it ideal for checking grill grates, pizza stones, or cooking surfaces, while the probe mode enables internal temperature readings to ensure food safety. The thermometer includes a folding design that allows the stainless steel probe, which ranges from 45° to 180°, to be stored within the device, enhancing portability. It has a 5:1 distance to target ratio in IR mode for measuring extremely hot surfaces safely and incorporates a scan and hold function for precise temperature monitoring.
