The Medschanker® Smart Transport Medium™ is an FDA-listed collection and transport system designed for the collection, transport, maintenance, and storage of clinical specimens containing viruses and bacteria. The STM™ is housed in a plastic tube featuring a CQ-Lock™ screw cap, ensuring organism viability for up to 96 hours at room temperature. It is made with premium components, 85% of which are sourced from within the USA. Key features include US engineering with products manufactured in Korea, reliability in maintaining various types of viruses at normal room temperatures ranging from 2 to 25°C (35.6 to 77°F), and uncompromised quality achieved through clean room procedures that allow for a single sterilization of the STM™, thereby preserving the integrity of the reagent. The Medschanker® STM is classified as a Class I device by the FDA.
