The Medschanker® Smart Collection System™ is a comprehensive solution designed for the collection, transport, maintenance, and storage of clinical specimens containing viruses and bacteria. This system includes Smart Transport Medium™, a nasopharyngeal CavSwab™ in a blister pack, and an Allium™ flocked swab, all housed in a plastic tube with a CQ-Lock™ screw cap that ensures organism viability for 96 hours at room or refrigerated temperatures. The system is FDA listed as a collection and transport system, guaranteeing reliability and quality. Notable features include stability at room temperature, electron beam sterilization with each component individually wrapped to ensure 100% sterility, and the inclusion of antibiotics in the STM™ to inhibit bacterial and fungal flora, thus providing the most accurate results. The CavSwab™ swabs employ Allium™ flock technology, which utilizes nylon fibers that adapt to the swab's movement direction, minimizing friction and enhancing sample collection efficiency.
