3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive DP460 is a toughened, two-part epoxy adhesive featuring a 2:1 mix ratio, a 60-minute work life, and handling strength achieved in approximately four hours. This product provides a strong and durable bond to a variety of surfaces, including ceramics, metals, glass, wood, and some plastics. It exhibits high peel and shear strength, making it suitable for critical applications, and it is straightforward to use—simply mix the components and apply according to the instructions. Designed for impact and fatigue resistance, this adhesive is ideal for demanding conditions and offers outstanding environmental performance. It is UL-HB certified and complies with ASTM E162, ASTM E662, Bombardier SMP 800C, and Boeing BSS 7239. Recommended applications include high-impact resistance for sporting goods, transportation applications such as rail and automotive, as well as military and aerospace applications, and it is also suitable for high-temperature resistance applications.
