The Squids 3172 anchor strap hook & loop closure facilitates easy attachment to tools, belts, harnesses, or structures, serving as a retrofit attachment point for tethering tools weighing up to 5lbs (2.3kg), thereby preventing dropped or falling objects. Constructed for durability, this anchor strap features heavy-duty abrasion-resistant polyester hook & loop webbing and a robust steel D-ring. It is designed to securely strap around various anchor points, with compatibility for Squids tool lanyards. The anchor strap meets ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 standards, is third-party certified to a 5lbs (2.3kg) maximum working capacity with a 1:1 safety factor, and can be affixed to tool belts, fall protection harnesses, railings, or other structures with a width of up to 3in (7.6cm) to create a closed-ended attachment point for tethering tool lanyards. The dimensions of the strap are 5in x 1in (12.7cm x 2.5cm), with a loop length of 3in (7.6cm), and the kit includes two tool tether attachments.
