This powerful professional stripper unlocks the chemical bonds of acrylic and urethane fortified floor finishes, effectively releasing them from the floor surface and making it suitable for use on most surfaces. Key features include its extreme power and the ability to quickly strip multiple coats of burnished finish from various flooring types. It is rinse-free, possessing a lower pH than competitive formulas, which eliminates the need for neutralization or rinsing. The stripper is specifically recommended for removing multiple coats of water-based acrylic and urethane fortified finishes from all types of resilient tile and hard surfaces, though it is not suitable for linoleum or sheet vinyl floors. For optimal performance, it is advised to pre-test in a small area, as bleeding or discoloration may occur on linoleum, rubber tile, or asphalt tile. The application process involves sweeping or dust mopping to remove large debris, diluting the stripper according to the desired stripping intensity, applying the solution liberally, and allowing a 3-5 minute contact time, while keeping the surface wet. Agitation should be performed with a low-speed rotary machine, automatic scrubber, or stripping machine, followed by solution pickup using appropriate equipment. It’s essential to allow floors to dry completely before applying finish or sealer, with no flood rinsing necessary if the surface appears free of dust and residue.
