MTC Bio™ 5ml Five-O™ Screw-Cap Macrotubes™ offer the convenience of standard 15ml conical tubes in a more space-efficient design, contributing to decreased natural resource consumption. These tubes are effective in a temperature range from -86°C to 110°C, making them suitable for both boiling and sample preservation at very low temperatures. The kit includes gamma sterilized racked packaging with attached caps or non-sterile bulk packaging with separate caps. The foam racks used for storage are similar to those for 15ml tubes but require about 60% less space. Key features include compatibility with standard equipment, the ability to centrifuge at up to 25,000xg, and being RNase, DNase, and pyrogen free, along with unsurpassed clarity. The tubes also feature dual graduations at every 0.2ml and 0.5ml for precise measurement.
