Cryogenic vials are the ideal choice for long-term storage of samples in the harshest environments, designed to withstand temperatures as low as -196°C. These thick-walled tubes feature silicone O-rings that ensure a leakproof seal, making them suitable for preserving biological materials for extended periods. Each vial has a capacity of 5 ml and comes with an internally threaded cap equipped with a silicone O-ring, allowing for secure closure. The self-standing Starfoot base of the vials enhances usability, as it allows for easy installation and removal of caps with one hand. Each case includes a 50-place locking rack and is supplied with 10 resealable bags containing 50 tubes each. The vials are gamma sterilized and are free from RNase, DNase, pyrogens, and endotoxins. It is important to note that these vials are intended for use in LN2 gas phase only and not for liquid phase storage.
