The Safety Station with WideArea™ eye/face wash, model G1909, is a combination safety station featuring a WideArea™ eye/face wash and shower. It includes four GS-Plus™ spray-type outlet heads that provide a flood of water over a wide area for effective rinsing of both the eyes and face. The shower head has a 10-inch diameter, made from orange ABS plastic, and features a 1-inch IPS chrome-plated brass stay-open ball valve, which is manufactured in the USA and incorporates a chrome-plated brass ball and PTFE seals. The unit is equipped with a stainless steel actuating arm and a 29-inch stainless steel pull rod. Each of the four GS-Plus™ spray heads comes with a flip-top dust cover, internal flow control, and a filter designed to eliminate impurities from the water flow. Additionally, the station includes an 11 1/2-inch diameter stainless steel eye/face wash bowl, along with a 1/2-inch IPS chrome-plated brass stay-open ball valve, similarly crafted in the USA. The assembly is constructed from Schedule 40 galvanized steel and features orange polyethylene covers for enhanced visibility and corrosion resistance. The inlet can be a 1-1/4 NPT female top or side inlet, while the outlet can be positioned at either 8 or 20 inches above the finished floor by reversing the lower pipe nipples. An ANSI-compliant identification sign is included, and both the valve and spray head assemblies are factory assembled and water tested prior to shipment.
