The Skullerz® 8974-MIPS safety helmet is a Class E safety helmet equipped with integrated MIPS® technology, which is designed to enhance head protection by reducing the effects of dangerous angled impacts. It features the MIPS Elevate safety system, a low-friction layer that allows for multi-directional sliding upon angled impact, thereby minimizing the transmission of rotational forces to the head. This helmet offers heavy-duty yet lightweight and comfortable protection against falls, dropped objects, and collisions with stationary objects, covering the front, back, top, and sides of the head. The compact design not only increases overall impact protection but also improves visibility, while an adjustable chin strap ensures that the helmet remains secure during sudden movements. Key features include compliance with EN 12492 side impact testing requirements, a removable hard hat sweatband made from breathable and machine-washable materials, integrated headlamp slots for compatible Skullerz hard hat LED lights, enhanced visibility, and an adjustable fit via a one-handed knob.
