The LegendViz® traffic sign is designed for enhanced visibility at night, featuring an LED-illuminated legend that significantly improves legibility. The accompanying LegendViz® Blinkersign® includes flashing perimeter LEDs, collectively shown to increase sign legibility distance by as much as 100 percent compared to standard traffic signs, as validated by research from the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI). This product is engineered without the need for retro reflectivity or headlights and allows for quick, one-person installation. The sign is illuminated from dusk to dawn, with perimeter LEDs that automatically dim based on ambient light, ensuring optimal output. It boasts over 7 days of solar autonomy and offers flexible configuration with solar 13/28 or AC power options. The sign is compliant with MUTCD standards and is proudly made in the USA. It features dimensions of 30"x30", utilizes 3M™ DG3 translucent sheeting, and carries the legend R5-1. An optional large pole banding kit for round poles with a diameter of 6" OD or greater, as well as an anti-vandal tri-groove socket, can be purchased separately.
