Hybex™ glass media storage bottles are manufactured from high-quality, borosilicate 3.3 glass, offering superior chemical resistance, making them ideal for the storage of reagents, culture media, biological fluids, and a variety of aqueous and nonaqueous solutions. With a low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3), these bottles provide exceptional temperature resistance, capable of withstanding temperatures from -70 to 500°C, allowing for repeated use in freezers, microwaves, autoclaves, and dry heat sterilization chambers. Each bottle features easy-to-read, permanent enamel graduations and a large labeling area for identification. All Hybex™ media bottles come with a drip-free sealing ring and a standard blue polypropylene GL45 sealing cap, while the 50 ml bottle has a GL32 cap. Additional options include caps in green, purple, white, and yellow, or an assortment pack containing two of each cap color. The bottles are supplied in packs of 10 and are autoclavable, reusable, and breakage resistant.
