Accuris™ compact balances are engineered to fulfill the essential requirements of academic and research laboratories that necessitate weight determinations with increments between 0.01 g and 0.1 g. These balances employ reliable and precise weighing technology utilizing gold-plated ceramic capacitors to ascertain sample mass. The line consists of six models that accommodate a diverse range of maximum weight capacities, with lower capacity units (120 g, 300 g, and 500 g) readable to 0.01 g and equipped with a draft shield ring to mitigate the influence of air currents on measurements. These models feature a 4.5-inch diameter stainless steel weigh pan. In contrast, the larger capacity models (1000 g, 5000 g, and 10,000 g) lack the draft shield ring and are fitted with larger weighing pans ranging from 6.3 to 7 inches in diameter, offering readability to 0.1 g. All Accuris™ compact balances feature large, brightly lit LCD panels and are user-friendly thanks to an intuitive, splash-resistant control panel. They provide different modes for weight display in various units such as grams, ounces, and carats, along with programs for piece counting and percent deviation weighing. The leveling feet at the front of the balance facilitate easy access, and a visible leveling bubble in the control panel allows for quick and simple leveling on the lab bench. Calibration is straightforward, using a calibration weight and the control panel; users merely select a calibration point, place the weight on the weigh pan, and press the "CAL" button.
