Ideal for laboratory and industrial applications, the OHAUS® Scout features a slim, stackable design with a large backlit LCD. This high-performance device comes with superior overload protection, multiple weighing units, and various application modes, including weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, check weighing, totalization, and display hold. The display is a liquid crystal display (LCD) with backlight. The kit includes an AC adapter; however, it can also operate on 4 AA batteries, which are not included. Communication options are extensive, featuring RS232, USB host, USB device, Ethernet, or Bluetooth® available as an accessory. The construction consists of ABS housing, a stainless steel pan, an ABS draft shield (for 1mg models only), a weigh below hook, a transportation lock, a manual calibration lock switch, a security slot, adjustable leveling feet, and an illuminated up-front level indicator. Design features include a stability indicator, stackable design with an optional storage cover (excluding 1mg models), mechanical and software overload/underload protection, low battery indicator, auto shut-off, auto tare, and a span calibration mass included for models with up to 620g capacity. Units of measurement available are carat, grain, gram, newton, ounce, ounce troy, pennyweight, and custom.
