The Ohaus® Scout® STX123 electronic portable touchscreen balance offers a precision capacity of 120g with a readability of 0.001g, making it ideal for laboratory and industrial applications. It features a 4.3" (109mm) full-color VGA graphic touchscreen display with user-controlled brightness, enhancing usability. The balance can operate using an included AC adapter or 4 AA batteries (not included) and offers diverse communication options, including RS232, USB host, USB device, Ethernet, or Bluetooth® (available as an accessory). Constructed with ABS housing and a stainless steel pan, it includes an ABS draft shield for 1mg models, a weigh below hook, a transportation lock, a manual calibration lock switch, a security slot, and adjustable leveling feet, complemented by an illuminated up-front level indicator. Additional design features include a stability indicator, a stackable design with an included storage cover (excluding 1mg models), mechanical and software overload/underload protection, a low battery indicator, auto shut-off, auto tare, and a span calibration mass for models with up to 620g capacity. The balance supports multiple units of measurement, including carat, custom, grain, gram, milligram, newton, ounce, ounce troy, and pennyweight.
