Accuris™ compact balances are designed for academic and research labs that require weight determinations with readability ranging from 0.01g to 0.1g, utilizing reliable and precise weighing technology with gold-plated ceramic capacitors. The compact line includes six models, with lower capacity units (120g, 300g, and 500g) readable to 0.01g, featuring a draft shield ring to mitigate the effects of air currents, and equipped with a 4.5-inch diameter stainless steel weigh pan. The larger capacity models (1000g, 5000g, and 10,000g) do not include a draft shield, come with larger weighing pans ranging from 6.3 to 7 inches in diameter, and are readable to 0.1g. All balances are fitted with large, brightly lit LCD panels, an intuitive splash-resistant control panel, and multiple display modes for grams, ounces, carats, and additional programs for piece counting and percent deviation weighing. Leveling feet are conveniently located at the front for easy access, complemented by a visible leveling bubble in the control panel for quick lab bench leveling. Calibration is user-friendly, requiring the selection of a calibration point and the addition of a calibration weight on the weigh pan. Each unit is lightweight and compact, offering years of reliable service, and features an RS232 port for direct data output to a computer or printer.
