Accuris™ compact balances are designed to meet the basic needs of academic and research labs, providing precise weight determinations with readability ranging from 0.01g to 0.1g. The compact line features six models, with lower capacity units (120g, 300g, and 500g) displaying measurements at 0.01g increments and equipped with a draft shield ring to mitigate the effects of air currents. These models include a 4.5-inch diameter stainless steel weigh pan. The larger capacity models (1000g, 5000g, and 10,000g) are readable to 0.1g and come with larger weighing pans measuring between 6.3 to 7 inches in diameter, without the draft shield ring. All balances feature large, brightly lit LCD panels and are operated via an intuitive, splash-resistant control panel. Different modes allow weight measurement in various units, including grams, ounces, and carats, with additional programs for piece counting and percent deviation weighing. The balances are equipped with leveling feet for easy access and a visible leveling bubble for simple leveling on lab benches. Calibration is straightforward using a calibration weight and a few key strokes on the control panel, allowing users to select a calibration point and initiate calibration with the "CAL" button. Each unit includes an RS232 port for data output to computers or printers, ensuring versatility in data handling.
