Accuris™ compact balances are designed to meet the essential needs of academic and research laboratories requiring precise weight determinations ranging from 0.01g to 0.1g. These balances utilize reliable weighing technology with gold-plated, ceramic capacitors to accurately determine sample mass. The compact line includes six models with varying maximum weight capacities, with lower capacity units (120g, 300g, and 500g) readable to 0.01g, featuring a draft shield ring to minimize air current interference and a 4.5-inch diameter stainless steel weigh pan. The larger capacity models (1000g, 5000g, and 10,000g) come without a draft shield, include larger weighing pans ranging from 6.3 to 7 inches in diameter, and are readable to 0.1g. All models are equipped with large, brightly lit LCD panels and an intuitive, splash-resistant control panel for easy operation. They offer various display modes for weight in grams, ounces, or carats, and features for piece counting and percent deviation weighing. Leveling feet are conveniently located at the front for easy access, and a visible leveling bubble ensures simple leveling on the lab bench. Calibration can be performed using a calibration weight and a few key strokes, making it straightforward to ensure accuracy. Additionally, the balances include an RS232 port for data output to a computer or printer, and their compact and lightweight design allows for years of reliable service.
