Accuris™ compact balances are designed for academic and research labs requiring precise weight determinations with readability of 0.01g to 0.1g. They utilize gold-plated, ceramic capacitors for reliable sample mass measurement and include six models with varying maximum weight capacities. The lower capacity models (120g, 300g, and 500g) are readable to 0.01g and are equipped with a draft shield ring to mitigate air currents during measurements, featuring a 4.5-inch diameter stainless steel weigh pan. The larger models (1000g, 5000g, and 10,000g) have larger weighing pans ranging from 6.3 to 7 inches in diameter and are readable to 0.1g, but do not include the draft shield. All models offer large, brightly lit LCD panels and are operated via an intuitive, splash-resistant control panel. They feature different display modes for weight in grams, ounces, and carats, as well as simple programs for piece counting and percent deviation weighing. Leveling feet are conveniently located for easy access, and the control panel includes a visibile leveling bubble for straightforward leveling on the lab bench. Calibration can be performed using a calibration weight and key strokes on the control panel, with an RS232 port available for data output to a computer or printer.
