Accuris™ compact balances are designed to meet the fundamental requirements of academic and research laboratories that need weight determinations with readability increments of 0.01g to 0.1g. Featuring reliable and precise weighing technology utilizing gold-plated, ceramic capacitors, the compact line includes six models with varying maximum weight capacities: lower capacity units at 120g, 300g, and 500g provide readability of 0.01g and come with a draft shield ring to minimize measurement disruption from air currents, with a 4.5-inch diameter stainless steel weigh pan. The larger capacity models, which include 1000g, 5000g, and 10,000g, feature larger weighing pans ranging from 6.3 to 7 inches in diameter and are readable to 0.1g, but do not include the draft shield ring. Each model boasts large, brightly lit LCD panels for easy visibility and an intuitive, splash-resistant control panel for user-friendly operation. Weighing modes allow for display in various units such as grams, ounces, and carats, along with simple programs for piece counting and percent deviation weighing. The balances are equipped with accessible leveling feet located towards the front for easy adjustments, and a visible leveling bubble on the control panel facilitates quick leveling on lab benches. Calibration is straightforward, requiring a calibration weight and a few keystrokes on the control panel. Additional features include an RS232 port for data output to a computer or printer, alongside multiple mode options for standard weighing, count mode, and percent weighing.
