Accuris™ compact balances are specifically designed for academic and research labs requiring precise weight determinations with a readability of 0.01g to 0.1g. These balances feature reliable weighing technology utilizing gold-plated, ceramic capacitors to accurately determine sample mass. The compact line consists of six models, with lower capacity units (120g, 300g, and 500g) readable to 0.01g and equipped with a draft shield ring to minimize the impact of air currents. These models have a 4.5-inch diameter stainless steel weigh pan. The higher capacity models (1000g, 5000g, and 10,000g) without the draft shield feature weigh pans measuring 6.3 to 7 inches in diameter and have a readability of 0.1g. All balances offer large, brightly lit LCD panels and operate via an intuitive, splash-resistant control panel. They support multiple display modes for weight measurement in grams, ounces, and carats, along with simple programs for piece counting and percent deviation weighing. Additionally, leveling feet are conveniently located at the front of the balance for easy access, and a visible leveling bubble aids in quick leveling on the lab bench. For calibration, users can easily select a point in calibration mode, place a calibration weight on the weigh pan, and press the "CAL" button. The compact balances come equipped with an RS232 port for data output to computers or printers and include an easy in-lab calibration feature, ensuring years of reliable service.
