The Skullerz® 8976 Type 2 safety helmet is a Class E safety helmet featuring a 6-point suspension and an EPS foam interior halo for comprehensive impact protection. This lightweight helmet design ensures comfortable head protection while safeguarding against falls, dropped objects, and collisions with stationary items. The 6-point suspension disperses the force of impacts more effectively than 4-point systems, and it includes a chin strap to keep the helmet securely in place during sudden movements. The safety helmet meets ANSI Z89.1-2014, Type 2, Class E requirements, offering enhanced side, front, and back protection, as well as complying with the impact and penetration resistance standards of EN12492:2012. It accommodates a wide range of head sizes (hat sizes 6.5 - 8 / 21 in - 25 in / 53 cm - 63.5 cm) and features a lightweight EPS foam halo for all-around impact protection. Additional features include a removable hard hat sweatband and top pad made from breathable, sweat-wicking, odor-resistant, and machine-washable materials, as well as integrated headlamp slots for improved safety and visibility at night when used with the Skullerz® hard hat LED light. The helmet has been tested and approved according to ANSI and EN standards, ensuring high levels of safety and compliance.
