The Squids® 3785 split ring tool attachment (10-pack) is designed to create a larger retrofit attachment point on tools with small captive holes for tethering tools up to 2 lbs / 0.9 kg, effectively preventing dropped or falling objects on the job. To install, simply open the split ring with a pair of ring pliers, thread it through the tool's captive hole, and turn until the ring is fully connected. Constructed from durable plated steel, these split rings are built to withstand defined weight limits, making them suitable for use by any worker to help avoid the accidental dropping of objects that could lead to damage or injuries. These attachments are third-party certified to a maximum capacity of 2 lbs / 0.9 kg and comply with the ANSI/ISEA 121 standard, which includes all required labeling. They are ideal for tethering tools in various industries, such as construction, telecommunications, oil and gas, power generation, utilities, wind energy, and manufacturing.
