RetroBasics® 4" LED trim kits provide an economical solution for efficiently lighting a space with LED technology, featuring virtually zero maintenance. This LED downlight is compatible with 4" housings, allowing for general illumination in various rooms. It can replace legacy incandescent technology in existing installations or be paired with Quick Connect LED housings for a cost-effective downlight solution. The LED trim maintains at least 70% light output for 50,000 hours. Key features include 5 switchable white color temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K CCT) with a factory preset at 3000K CCT and a 90 CRI, along with dimmable flicker-free operation from 100% to 10%. The non-conductive thermal plastic trim is suitable for dead front applications, and its low-profile construction is optimized for wider fixture spacings. Users can choose between baffle and smooth trim options for a traditional or modern aesthetic. The trim includes a quick connect plug for easy electrical connections and retention springs that are pre-installed for compatibility with most 4" recessed housings. Applications include retrofitting existing recessed housings or using Quick Connect housings for new constructions or remodels, and the trim is wet rated and Air-Loc certified, making it ideal for use in showers, bathrooms, and outdoor soffits. It is also compatible with IC rated housings, allowing for direct contact with insulation.
