RetroBasics™ 5/6" LED trim kits offer an efficient lighting solution utilizing LED technology, designed for both 5" and 6" housings. The kit includes a downlight that provides general illumination, capable of replacing incandescent technology or pairing with Quick Connect LED housings. It features five switchable white color temperatures of 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K with a color rendering index (CRI) of 90, with the switch factory preset at 3000K. The dimmable functionality allows for flicker-free dimming from 100% to 10%. Constructed from non-conductive thermal plastic, the trim is ideal for dead front applications and has a low-profile design optimized for wider fixture spacings. The available baffle and smooth trim options provide choices for both traditional and modern aesthetics. The trim includes a Quick Connect plug for quick electrical connections, with pre-installed torsion springs designed for compatibility with most recessed housings. This product is suitable for retrofitting existing recessed housings or using with Quick Connect housings for new construction or remodel projects, and the adjustable trim allows for precise light aiming, making it ideal for highlighting artwork or architectural details. It is also compatible with housings installed in IC-rated applications, permitting direct contact with insulation. The LED trim maintains at least 70% light output for 50,000 hours, ensuring long-lasting performance.
