The pack includes 500 polypropylene tubes, each with a conical bottom and a capacity of 50ml, along with blue HDPE leak-proof screw caps. The tubes and caps feature specially-designed flat threads for vacuum-type closure, ensuring a leak-free seal at a pressure of greater than 700mm Hg. The highly smooth hydrophobic internal surfaces minimize wall effects, while silk-screen graduations and a frosted surface facilitate easy writing. These tubes are autoclavable at 121°C and 15 PSI for 20 minutes and are radiation sterilized. They are DNase, RNase, pyrogen, and latex-free, with a maximum relative centrifugal force (RCF) of 20,000. The amber-colored tubes are particularly suitable for light-sensitive applications, as they do not allow any light to pass through the samples.
