The pack includes 250 internally threaded cryogenic vials, each with a capacity of 4.5ml and a star-shaped base, ideal for the storage of samples at temperatures as low as -196°C. These vials are manufactured from polypropylene and feature a large white frosted labeling area along with silk screen graduations for easy identification. Each vial comes with a cap that is embedded with a non-toxic silicone O-ring, ensuring a secure seal to prevent contamination. The vials have an internal U-shaped bottom and are designed for self-standing use, allowing for one-handed operation with a support rack. They are DNase, RNase, and pyrogen-free, and have been radiation sterilized. It is important to note that these vials are not recommended for use in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen but can be utilized in the vapor phase.
