The kit includes 10 racks, each containing 50 polypropylene tubes with conical bottoms, featuring a 15ml capacity, and includes blue HDPE leak-proof screw caps. The centrifuge tube and rack sets provide an efficient solution for organizing and storing conical bottom tubes. Each rack is constructed from expanded polystyrene (EPS) and features holes arranged in a zigzag pattern for easy dispensing. The tubes have an outer diameter of 16.5mm and a height of 117.8mm, with specially-designed flat threads that ensure a vacuum-type closure, making them leak-free at pressures exceeding 700mm Hg. The internal surfaces of the tubes are highly smooth and hydrophobic, reducing wall effects. Furthermore, the tubes are marked with silk-screen graduations and have a frosted surface for easier writing. The racks are autoclavable at 121°C and 15 psi for 30 minutes and are radiation sterilized. They are also DNase, RNase, pyrogen, and latex-free, with a maximum relative centrifugal force (RCF) of 14,000.
