The Guard Enclosure for Morse® Tilt-To-Load drum tumblers is designed to enhance safety by utilizing a safety interlock that automatically shuts off the drum tumbler when the gate is opened. This enclosure kit allows for easy installation with single-phase electric (non-explosion proof) Morse® 310 series drum tumblers. It features an outside post-to-post dimension of L: 88" x W: 52" x H: 63-1/4" (224 x 132 x 161 cm) and includes a 4-foot (121-7/8 cm) wide door opening, with a 3-1/4" (8-1/4 cm) space under the gate and side panels. The kit is equipped with a gate switch, and it is essential to ensure that all Morse® equipment is installed in accordance with local safety requirements and complies with OSHA regulations, specifically Subpart O.1910.212(a)(4). Additionally, Morse® control packages provide the necessary controls and connections for AC models, including a low-voltage transformer and wire terminals necessary for connecting the external safety interlock switch. All Morse® control packages and enclosures must be installed properly to maintain compliance with OSHA regulations.
