The Starrett® electronic caliper is designed with a large, easy-to-read, high-contrast LCD readout and offers IP67 protection against coolants, water, chips, dust, and dirt, making it suitable for machine shop environments. It features an induction type linear encoder system that allows for inch/millimeter metric conversion and has a measuring range of 0-150mm (0-6") with a resolution of 0.01mm (.0005"). The caliper comes with SPC output and is housed in a fitted plastic case. Key features include fine adjustment capabilities, hardened stainless steel measuring surfaces, RS232 output, a heavy-duty bar and slide, a slide lock, and a single 3-volt battery that provides over one year of normal usage. Additional attributes include in/mm conversion, the ability to zero at any position, an auto-off feature after 30 minutes, and reactivation of the display without loss of position. The caliper is compatible with Starrett® DataSure wireless data collection systems.
