The Starrett® EC799 Series electronic caliper is a lightweight and ergonomic tool designed for precision measurement, featuring a slim, streamlined profile and a large, clear, easy-to-read LCD display. This electronic caliper measures from 0 to 12 inches (0 to 300mm) without output and comes packaged in a plastic case. Key attributes include the retention of the last measuring position when shut off, high-contrast digital readout with inch/millimeter conversion that reads to .0005 inches or 0.01 mm, the ability to zero at any position, and a fine adjustment thumb wheel for increased accuracy. The hardened stainless steel body ensures durability, and the caliper has an auto-off feature after 30 minutes to conserve battery life.
