Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 311+ is a high-performance industrial packaging tape designed for box sealing, splicing, recuperage, and other demanding packaging applications. This tape performs excellently in damp and cold shipping and storage environments, even at temperatures as low as 20°F to 50°F (-6.6°C to 10°C). It is specifically engineered for superior adhesion to highly recycled corrugated fiberboard boxes, making it ideal for the food and beverage industry, electronics packaging, pharmaceuticals, and the e-fulfilment industry. Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 311+ can be applied by hand, with a manual dispenser, or using a 3M-Matic™ case sealer. Its backing conforms easily around edges and rough surfaces, ensuring a tight seal that resists shipping hazards while maintaining performance in tough environments. The tape is designed for applications such as packaging in refrigerated temperatures, box sealing and splicing, and sealing recycled liner paper and fiberboard.
