The G-Tek® seamless knit Polykor® blended glove is designed with a silicone-coated flat grip on the palm and fingers, making it particularly suitable for glass manufacturing. It features seamless construction for enhanced comfort and breathability, with a lightweight Polykor® blended shell that offers excellent dexterity, tactile sensitivity, and cut resistance. The silicone coating on the palm and fingers ensures a secure grip in dry conditions while providing heat protection; it does not absorb liquids and can be easily wiped clean to maintain grip. The glove includes a knit wrist to prevent dirt and debris from entering, as well as color-coded hems for easy size identification. It meets FDA food safety standards and has superior gripping properties in both wet and dry environments. The glove is constructed with a 13-gauge design, which refers to the number of rows of stitches per inch, providing less bulk and greater dexterity. The ANSI cut level is A7, according to test method ASTM F2992-15 and the revised ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 standard. EN 388 2016 results indicate an abrasion level of 4, cut (Coupe test) of X, tear of 4, puncture of 2, cut (TDM-100 test) of F, and impact protection of X. The ANSI abrasion level is rated at 6 per the ASTM D3389-10 test method, while the ANSI puncture level is rated at 3.
