The Aluminum Economizer Dock Plate is designed to facilitate efficient truck loading and unloading by spanning the opening between dock and trailer, allowing for safe movement of pallet or hand trucks. Constructed from high-strength, non-skid aluminum alloy tread plate, this dock plate features a lightweight design complemented by bolt-on zinc-plated legs and side handles for easy portability. The unit includes locking legs to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and is not intended for use with fork trucks. The dock plate has assembled dimensions of 78"W x 30"L x 6-3/8"H, a plate thickness of 1/2", and can support a capacity of 9500 lbs. Key features include beveled entrance and exit edges for smoother transitions, an assembled weight of 90 lbs, an 11-degree bend or crown, a distance of 9 inches between the bend or crown from the dock plate edge, a height difference of 4 inches between truck and door, and leg height of 6 inches.
