The aluminum economizer dock plate is designed to facilitate efficient truck loading and unloading by bridging the gap between the dock and trailer, allowing safe movement of pallet or hand trucks. Constructed from high-strength, non-skid aluminum alloy tread plate, it features a lightweight design with bolt-on zinc-plated legs and handles on each side for easy portability. The dock plate includes locking legs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and is not suitable for use with fork trucks. The plate measures 30" x 24" with a thickness of 3/8" and supports a capacity of up to 3000 lbs. Key attributes include an assembled dimension of 36" W x 24" D x 6-3/8" H and an assembled weight of 35 lbs. The design includes an 11-degree bend or crown with a 9" distance from the dock plate edge, and accommodates a height difference of 3" between the truck and door, with leg height at 6".
