The aluminum economizer dock plate is designed to facilitate efficient truck loading and unloading by spanning the opening between a dock and a trailer, allowing for safe movement of pallet or hand trucks. Constructed from high-strength, non-skid aluminum alloy tread plate, this dock plate features a lightweight design complemented by bolt-on zinc-plated legs and handles on each side for easy portability. The unit includes locking legs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and is not suitable for use with fork trucks. The dock plate has usable dimensions of 48" x 24" with a plate thickness of 3/8" and a capacity of 5200 lbs. The assembled dimensions are 54"W x 24"L x 6-3/8"H, and it has an assembled weight of 37 lbs. The beveled entrance and exit edges provide a smoother transition for users.
