The Edge-O-Dock leveler is designed for permanent attachment to the face of a loading dock, recommended for docks with a height of at least forty-eight (48) inches. When a trailer departs, its lip automatically retracts behind the face of the bumpers. This kit includes bumpers and installation instructions, with a standard ramping height of 29-13/16 inches and an optional thirty-six (36-5/8) inch long ramping length for smaller grades. Proper installation requires a steel dock edge or approach ramp. The mechanical operation of the Edge-O-Dock is facilitated by placing the actuation handle into the pocket of the inner lip and pulling it down towards the floor, followed by pushing the handle forward until the lip is securely resting on the truck bed. Notably, the easy installation allows for a quick mount to any loading dock with a steel dock edge, while the tread plate design provides a positive non-slip gripping action, and there is no need for a concrete recess. Its solid steel construction ensures long-lasting, reliable use.
