The Edge-O-Dock leveler is designed for permanent attachment to the face of a dock, recommended for docks at least 48 inches high. When the trailer departs, the lip of the leveler automatically drops behind the face of the bumpers. The kit includes bumpers and installation instructions, with standard ramping measuring 29 inches, while models FM/PP/PE 3066 and 3072 feature a ramping of 29-13/16 inches, and a long ramping length of 36-5/8 inches is also available. A steel dock edge, or approach ramp, is necessary for proper installation. The electric hydraulic design ensures ease of operation; after the truck is backed against the dock, pressing and holding the control button raises the leveler and extends the lip. The complete unit includes a motor, pump, control box, cylinder, lines, and oil, and the leveler returns to its stored position only after the truck pulls out.
