The industrial steel gantry crane is designed for transporting and positioning materials along the beam's length, featuring heavy-duty welded steel construction for long-lasting use. Each unit includes four swivel glass-filled nylon casters with four-way position locks for safe positioning, while the 2K-4K units are equipped with glass-filled nylon casters, the 6K-8K units have phenolic casters, and the 10K model has steel casters. The crane's locking mechanism secures the rigging in one of four positions, allowing for movement in any direction. An optional total locking caster is available, which locks the rigging in any position and prevents the wheels from rotating. The crane is designed for semi-permanent or permanent applications and requires assistance from a fork truck for setup. It features an easy adjustable height that can be modified using a fork truck or other overhead lifting device. All units comply with applicable CMAA and ANSI specifications. The base dimensions are 239-3/4 inches by 76-1/8 inches, and the unit is finished in a painted blue with warning and operating stickers, along with a complete owner's manual.
