The Edge-O-Dock leveler is designed for permanent attachment to the face of the dock, suitable for docks at least forty-eight (48) inches high. When the trailer departs, the lip automatically drops behind the face of the bumpers. The kit includes bumpers and installation instructions. The standard ramping measures twenty-nine (29) inches, with an optional thirty-six (36-5/8) inch long ramping length available for smaller grades. Installation requires a steel dock edge or approach ramp. Operation of the mechanical Edge-O-Dock involves placing the actuation handle into the pocket of the inner lip and pulling down toward the floor, subsequently pushing the handle forward until the lip rests on the truck bed. Upon trailer departure, the lip retracts automatically behind the bumper face. Key features include easy installation that allows for quick mounting to any loading dock with a steel dock edge, a tread plate design for positive non-slip gripping action, and no requirement for a concrete recess.
